Tank Manufacturer Contributing to Carbon Neutrality
In 1950, TKK began to apply advanced welding technologies for the manufacturing of welded petroleum tanks cultivated through the manufacture of industrial furnaces. Over the years, we have expanded the operations to build more than 5,700 tanks, including crude oil storage tanks, LNG and LPG cryogenic storage tanks and high-pressure spherical tanks. These tanks are not only safe, economical, and of high quality but are also equipped with superior mechanism, capable of meeting the structural integrity requirements of large-capacity storage in both oil and natural gas producing and consuming countries around the world.
Amid an urgent need to switch to next-generation energy sources to achieve carbon neutrality, TKK is aiming to develop large liquefied hydrogen tanks, which contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions. Along with this, we are also contributing to the spread of large liquefied Ammonia and large liquefied CO2 tanks.
The Role of Tanks in Achieving Carbon Neutrality
Liquefied hydrogen, liquefied Ammonia, and MCH are being considered as hydrogen transport mediums(carriers).
In order to store these, tanks are required at both export and import terminals. Tank is also required to capture and store the emitted CO2.
